The community and the benefice churches are supporting the Networx charity in Eastbourne. Inspirational work is being done in Eastbourne to help and support destitute refugees, asylum seekers and their children.
The core aim of the charity is that no migrant, asylum seeker, refugee person or family in the Eastbourne area should lack a just and compassionate welcome, nor the opportunity to engage with the local community who are willing to care for them and their needs.
You can help by:
Volunteering
- support a family with regular visits
- assist with teaching English
- help at the Sanctuary Cafe
- assist with official administration/driving to appointments
Donating
- good quality tools, toys, household goods
- money for ongoing support
Santuary Cafe, All Souls Church Hall, Wellesley Road
Run by volunteers to provide a warm welcome and meeting place
Open Mondays 10.30am - 12.30pm (except Bank Holidays)
